Do you ever feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward? Many of the individuals and families I work with come in feeling exactly that way.

Life can feel heavy at times, especially when anxiety, self-doubt, or life transitions begin to build. You do not have to navigate that alone.

I am passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults find hope, healing, and confidence in the middle of life's challenges. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel understood, encouraged, and empowered as you move toward meaningful change.

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Parker County, and this community has always been home to me. I care deeply about this community and feel honored to support children, teens, and families here in meaningful ways.

Outside of the counseling room, I am someone who values quiet and simple moments. I enjoy creative hobbies like crafting, painting, and building LEGO sets, as well as spending time at home, playing video games, and watching familiar comfort shows. I also spent seven years living in North Dakota and, somewhat unexpectedly for a Texas native, grew to love the winter and snow.

My Christian faith is an important part of who I am. My relationship with God has shaped many of the values I try to carry into my life and my work, including compassion, grace, and hope.

I believe everyone has a story, and that genuine connection begins with taking the time to understand it. People are more than the hardest thing they have experienced or the worst moment of their lives, and everyone has a story that deserves to be understood.

My hope is that when you read this, you do not just see a counselor, but a real person who will meet you with care, respect, and support.

Why I do this work

I did not grow up with a perfect or easy story, and I understand what it is like for life at home to feel complicated and heavy. As a teen, I experienced addiction in my family and saw first hand how those struggles can impact a person's sense of safety, stability, and identity.

Those experiences shaped the way I see people today. I know how isolating it can feel to carry difficult things quietly and how important it is to have even one safe space where you do not have to pretend everything is okay.

I am especially drawn to working with children, teens, and young adults because I see so much honesty, creativity, and resilience in them, even when they do not see it in themselves. I love the creativity, imagination, and sense of wonder they bring into the world, as well as the honesty and genuineness with which they often express themselves. There is something special about the way they can express themselves so freely, qualities that can sometimes become harder to hold onto as life becomes more complicated.

My goal is to offer that space where clients and families can begin to make sense of what they are carrying, feel less alone in it, and slowly build hope again in a way that feels real and possible.
