License Violation Concerns
If you believe a license holder regulated by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) has violated professional ethical standards or practiced outside the scope of their license, you may file a complaint with BHEC.
Notice to Clients
The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council investigates and prosecutes professional misconduct committed by licensed behavioral health professionals.
Not every complaint or dispute with a licensee involves professional misconduct. The Executive Council can provide information about filing a complaint when appropriate.

Requesting Client Records
Client records are retained for at least seven years after services end, or for five years after a minor client reaches age 18, whichever period is longer.
Requests for access to or copies of client records may be submitted in writing to:

Please include your name, contact information, and a description of the records being requested. Requests will be reviewed and processed in accordance with applicable HIPAA requirements and Texas law.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use their insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of counseling services.
KalliCo Counseling, PLLC will provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges when required by law or upon request.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate you received from KalliCo Counseling, PLLC, you may have the right to dispute the bill.
